Content standards
These are the standards every page on this site is written and edited against.
Accuracy over enthusiasm
We describe offers by their terms, not their headlines. A percentage is always shown with the cap, the wagering and the stake limit beside it. We avoid words such as "free", "guaranteed" or "risk-free" unless they are literally true.
Plain British English
We write for UK readers in British spelling and usage, explain jargon on first use and use pounds alongside euros. Where a UK term differs from the operator's — "cashing out" for "withdrawal", "punter" for "bettor" — we may use both.
Responsible gambling in every guide
Each guide includes the age restriction and access to help. Pages about bonuses, VIP schemes or cashback include a specific note about the risks those features carry. We never suggest gambling as a way out of debt, a source of income or a cure for boredom or low mood.
Protecting under-18s and vulnerable people
We do not use imagery, language or characters with particular appeal to under-18s. We do not target readers who have self-excluded; the page on GAMSTOP is written to support them, not to steer them offshore.
Fairness
We set out the downside of every offer and every feature. If a feature has no downside worth mentioning, we say why. We do not disparage other operators to make this one look better.
Images and logos
Brand logos and game artwork are used to identify the operator and titles we discuss. They do not imply endorsement of this site by the operator or the studios.
Numbers in two currencies
Because the operator works in euros and our readers think in pounds, every amount appears in both, with the euro figure first because that is the binding one. We round sterling to the nearest pound for large sums and the nearest five pence for stake limits, and we never round in the direction that flatters an offer.
